Support. Assists students to make full use of
available programs and services so that they may optimize
their learning of the information, skills and attitudes
prescribed in the medical curriculum.
Academic
Feedback. On an individual and group basis, reports
on student academic performance and progress in the medical
curriculum.
Problem-based
Learning (PBL). Offers an elective course in medical
problem solving for sophomore students during the fall and
spring semesters. The PBL elective is designed for small group
discussion format and emphasizes self-directed learning,
teaming, and trans-disciplinary understanding of human
diseases.

Information.
Provides information regarding curriculum, resources,
services, and programs to improve student academic
performance. Such information may be developed from local
research programs or identified from current literature as
innovations or trends elsewhere.
Faculty
Resources. On an individual and group basis,
organizes and administers curriculum-related resources,
services, and workshops for faculty to improve teaching
skills.
Feedback.
Monitors the effectiveness and efficiency of faculty in
teaching and in the development of course materials for the
undergraduate medical curriculum.
